  • Have to say I was dissapointed with the generator hostel. The pillows were the size pf crisp packets and when I requested another 4 times I was told it would be there…nothing. the resturant was awful too with much better places just within 5 mins walk. My friend was served a warm hamburger with cold chips. The staff were so rude and I found it strange that even in a private room you werent allowed to bring in anything from outside. The bar and club were really good and the staff were great and the view from the rooftop garden was beautiful, but otherwise….when I wrote to them they offered me a free drink in the bar next time im in Paris. The bar you can only go to if you are staying there 😂😂😂

  • I’m so glad to see Les Piaules on the top of the list! It’s right across from the metro station and the bar is a café by day with great internet for people who work when they travel (like me). I tried Generator my 2nd time in Paris, but they charge for EVERYTHING…luggage storage, breakfast, early check-in. And you can never use the rooftop lounge they advertise because it’s always booked for private events. Great list!

  • That’s a great sum up of the hostels in Paris. It’s always a tough choice for that city. There is a long way to go for the city in terms of hostel. Can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Thanks for that sum up, bookmarked!!
    Matt

    • Hey Matt,

Yeah Paris is a pretty tough city to figure out which of the millions of hostels are the best in Paris! And no problem, glad to help!
