Riverside Guesthouse in Seminole Heights

If you’ve always wanted to explore the Tampa Bay area, lock down this Airbnb Plus for your trip. This is one of the best Florida Airbnbs for those keen to see Tampa, partly because of its location in the trendy neighborhood of Seminole Heights, which is full of breweries and parks, but also because it’s just an easy 10-minute drive from downtown.

The biggest perk of this guesthouse’s location is the Hillsborough River flowing through the backyard. Lounge out on your private riverside dock, or enjoy views of the lazy river from the hammock on its screened porch.

Mind you, this guesthouse is more than just its setting. There is a queen bed in the cozy bedroom, which stays comfortable with air conditioning and a ceiling fan. Through the sliding door is the relaxed living room with a large couch and a breakfast table. Over in the full kitchen is a coffee maker, microwave, fridge, and stove. The Wi-Fi, TV, and self-check-in option are some other amenities.

You won’t find another Airbnb in Florida that’s as good value for money as this apartment in St. Petersburg’s Allendale Park area north of downtown. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping centers nearby, while Tampa is just 20 minutes away.

Besides its great value and fantastic rating with over 700 reviews, the best thing about the studio apartment is its fun nature. Full of color, this converted garage features a cupboard full of snacks and food, plus an old-school arcade console with classic games to keep you entertained. While the kitchenette only has a microwave and refrigerator, you do get amenities like cable TV, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning.

There’s a queen bed in the studio, and superhost Brent provides air mattresses for up to two extra guests. He also allows dogs, who can run around the fenced-in backyard. You’ll have a private entrance to the yard, as well as a private driveway with plenty of room for parking.

They say good things come in small packages, and that’s definitely the case with this modern bungalow in Florida. Staying here in beautiful East Hill, a historic and central neighborhood of Pensacola, you’ll be just a block from the bayou and a quick drive from downtown.

It’s clear why superhosts Clint and Syd call this small bungalow the “Sanctuary of Light,” with its large windows letting in plenty of sunlight and its calming, natural design. Large French doors open out onto the private back patio, allowing you to move freely between the bungalow and the garden, while maintaining complete privacy from the main house.

With a queen bed that sleeps two, this studio bungalow is best for solo travelers or couples. Sharing the living space is a couch, a dining table, and a kitchenette with a fridge, stovetop, teakettle, and microwave. Danville Glamping Treehouse for Couples

For a unique experience, why not try a treehouse rental in Florida, like this awesome one in Danville? Turning childhood dreams into reality, this Airbnb sits 15 feet off the ground between two oak trees and has an elevator to take you up.

The design of the adults-only treehouse is a bit like a floating yurt, with one large space that’s both a living room and a bedroom for the top level. At its center is a queen-size bed for two, which you can fold away to allow more space during the day. There is also a satellite TV and a kitchenette, featuring a fridge and microwave, as well as a gas grill out on the upper deck and a pleasant gas fireplace.

Down a level on the middle deck, you have a two-person outdoor shower with hot running water. This is also where you’ll find the hot tub and undercover seating for rainy days. There’s even more seating around the fire pit at ground level, as well as a fun Tiki hut bar.

Tiny House Paradise With Pool and Spa

Young families and small groups that don’t need much space will love this tiny house in the city of Bradenton. This is not only one of the most cleverly designed vacation rentals in Florida, but also just a short walk from the Palma Sola beaches and a quick drive to more beaches on Anna Maria Island.

Despite its size, this tiny house can sleep four guests and has a crib for little ones. There is a queen-size bed and a single bed in the sleeping lofts, plus a pullout sleeper sofa in the living area. Don’t expect much privacy from each other, though – this is all in one open space, with stairs or a ladder leading to each sleeping loft.

These compact sleeping arrangements leave room for a full kitchen and a full bathroom. You also get high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a private driveway, and your own laundry facilities.

The best amenities, however, are outside. You’ll have shared access to the heated saltwater pool, complete with a slide that kids will love, and the beautiful hot tub with rock landscaping. With the bonus of shaded seating and a fire pit by the pool, the courtyard outside your door might be just as fun a hangout spot as the nearby beaches.

Garden Studio With Jacuzzi and Pool

One of the best Airbnb rentals in Florida for some peace and quiet is this guesthouse in Lake Worth Beach. Located right by the city’s golf club and a mile from both Lake Worth Beach Park and downtown, this Airbnb offers both convenience and solitude.

The studio’s layout makes the space feel larger than it is. Bookshelves and a dresser provide a sort of privacy wall for the sleeping area with a queen bed. More shelves separate the large sofa and the TV in the living area from the kitchen. The kitchen provides everything you need to cook for yourself – a large fridge, a stove, an oven, and a microwave.

Another perk is the private washer and dryer, which is extremely useful for longer trips. You can also take advantage of some great communal facilities, including free bicycles as well as the swimming pool and Jacuzzi. You can even bring dogs to this Airbnb.

Treehouse Canopy Room on Permaculture Farm

It’s hard to believe there’s more than one treehouse Airbnb in Florida, yet here’s another one in northern Miami. Its location in the up-and-coming neighborhood of Little River lets you see an eclectic side of residential life in Miami, with easy access to the South Beach and Wynwood areas.

The house comprises several levels around a single tree. There’s no forgetting that you’re up among the treetops here, as the trunk pierces right through your bedroom. The open-air windows may seem like an insect hazard in Florida, but superhost Leslie takes measures to keep the mosquitoes away, including fans (which also help with the heat) and the mosquito net covering the double bed.

While you’ll be sleeping up a tree, most of the other facilities are down on the ground. You do have a balcony that looks out over the lush garden around you, but the shared kitchen and the bathroom with an outdoor shower are downstairs. You’ll also have access to the farm deck, where you can see all the local farm animals and take part in communal events.

Sailboat in Biscayne Bay

For a unique Florida Airbnb experience that’s all about your accommodation and its setting, check out this sailboat off the coast of Miami. You’ll definitely see a different side of Miami by staying here on the water, anchored off Coconut Grove in Biscayne Bay.

With a dinghy (or water taxi) your only means of reaching land, this Airbnb is all about making the most of your surroundings. That means enjoying the views of the Miami skyline, relaxing on or below deck, or going for a paddle with the provided kayaks. That said, you’ll get free parking on the mainland, where you can find plenty of nearby restaurants.

The sailboat can comfortably sleep three people in a double and single bed, and there’s seating out on the back of the boat. You get the essentials, including a toilet, fresh water, dishes, and towels – but all in all, this rental is for those seeking a different type of Airbnb experience rather than modern comforts.

This Airbnb Plus is best for couples, including those traveling with a young child, thanks to family-friendly inclusions like a travel crib, a highchair, and toys. While it looks unassuming from the outside, the apartment makes an impression with its retro decor as soon as you step inside.

Man Cave in an Airplane Hangar

This may be one of the strangest Airbnbs in Florida, but it’s still among the best. Even stranger than it being a “man cave” is its location – inside an airplane hangar on a private airstrip in Geneva. That may sound remote, but it’s just 30 minutes from the Kennedy Space Center and 45 minutes from Disney World.

True to its name, this man cave is full of eclectic decorations, with a comfy couch and a bar at its center. The queen bed is up in the loft over the bar, leaving plenty of space to hang out.

You won’t find a kitchen in the man cave, but the refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, and gas grill can cover the basics. The hangar has a full bathroom downstairs. There’s air conditioning and a wood-burning fireplace, keeping you comfortable in any season, plus satellite TV and Wi-Fi to keep you entertained.

Balcony Apartment on USA’s Oldest Street

On a trip to St. Augustine, the oldest city in the U.S., you want to stay somewhere like this Florida Airbnb, which puts you right in the historical center of the city. In fact, you’ll be on St. George Street, the oldest street in the country.

This shotgun-style apartment can sleep up to four guests, thanks to a king bed in the bedroom and a pullout couch in the living room. There’s also plenty of seating space in the living room, with a breakfast bar off the kitchen as well. The full kitchen includes a stove, an oven, a microwave, and a fridge, allowing you to cook for yourself.

Outside, the apartment enjoys both a small balcony over the street and a quiet, shady front porch. You’ll also get a free parking spot, which is quite valuable in this inner-city setting. Other useful amenities include Wi-Fi, cable TV, and laundry facilities.

The central location makes it easy to go sightseeing around the area and take advantage of local restaurants and nightlife – though it could also mean a lot of noise on Friday and Saturday nights. But according to the hundreds of positive reviews, as long as you’re not a particularly early or light sleeper, you shouldn’t have trouble getting enough sleep.

Tiki Suite Houseboat

“Only in Florida” is the first phrase that comes to mind at the idea of staying in a floating Tiki hut. Yet another of the odd Airbnb rentals in the Keys of Florida, this houseboat lies in the waters to the north of Key West, requiring a boat ride to reach it from the harbor.

The houseboat may seem quite primitive at first glance, but looks can indeed be deceiving. Believe it or not, this Tiki-styled houseboat features air conditioning and an Alexa system to control the lights and play music. While you won’t find a proper kitchen on board, there is a roto-molded cooler, a coffee maker, and a microwave to cover the basics, all powered by a generator. You even have a bathroom with a functioning toilet and a shower with hot water.

With few modern distractions out here, you’ll have to entertain yourself with the provided stand-up paddleboards and snorkel gear, or simply relax in the hammock. At the end of the day, get comfortable in the king bed for two and fall asleep to the sound of the water outside your window.

Cabin-Style Carriage House at Orlando Country Club

Who can resist a cozy, charming carriage house like this thoughtfully decorated Airbnb? Located at the Country Club of Orlando in the city’s downtown area, this is the perfect retreat after a busy day of sightseeing. It’s also one of the best Airbnbs near Disney World, which is just a 25-minute drive away.

Despite being named The Little Treehouse 2, this is more of a tiny house than a treehouse, though it’s hard to tell from the gorgeous wooden interior and plants all over the place. The studio design and queen bed make it best for couples. There’s also a nice little lounge area, featuring a sofa, a large TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime, and a fireplace.

Among the amenities is a kitchenette with a minifridge, coffee maker, and microwave. Superhosts Dave and Jean provide breakfast every morning. Other nice touches include air conditioning, Wi-Fi, bicycles, and a backyard with seating and a fire pit.
