    Hi Robin,

Having lived in Bangkok for over 20 years the only hotel I would include in my top 3 is the Mandarin Oriental which I have stayed in. I have also stayed in the boutique Hotel Muse, which is part of the Accor Group, and although it’s a very nice hotel there are much more luxurious hotels within the group such as the Sofitel on Sukumvit Road, or the Sofitel So on Sathorn Road. Amari Watergate is a nice hotel, but again would not have it in my top 3. The Kempinski, Peninsula, Okura, St. Regis and the new Waldorf Astoria are all 5 star and very luxurious hotels.

    Best regards

    Blair

  • The Siam Hotel should definitely be at the top of this list. Its ultimate luxury in a setting unlike any other.

    • You make a good point :) The Siam Hotel is definitely near the top of the list of best luxury hotels in Bangkok, but all things considered we decided those topped our list. Thanks for bringing that one up!
